Sub:  Clarification on constitution of Transfers and placement committee in DOP for recommending transfers/postings of the officials/ officers - reg

Ref:-    DG Lr No:4-09/2011-SPG(Pt) dated 10.1.2014.

Madam,

The instructions issued by the Directorate with reference cited above were interpreted and misinterpreted by the Regions/Circles in a different way. Under item 3(iii) the committee in Regional Office will recommend the transfers/postings of the officers/officials, which are required by the PMG. Under item number (iii) 3 the definition for the competent authority was understood differently and Regional Head has to approve all the Rotational Transfers which made the issue more complex. Circles already referred the matter to the Directorate for necessary clarification.

My union therefore requests issue of immediate clarification.

Yours sincerely,

(D. Kishan Rao)
