MEETING ON CADRE RESTRUCTURING

 THE MEETING ON CADRE RESTRUCTURING WAS HELD ON 12TH OCTOBER 2011 AS SCHEDULED.THE PROPOSALS OF NUPEGC WERE ALREADY SUBMITTED ON 21ST SEPTEMBER 2010 AND AGAIN 28TH SEPTEMBER 2011.THE STAFF SIDE DISCUSSED THE PROPOSALS SUBMITTED.THE CHAIRMAN AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS REQUESTED FOR SOME MORE TIME TO STUDY AND FINALIZE THE PROPOSALS FROM OFFICIAL SIDE.THE NEXT DATE OF THE MEETING IS NOT FIXED AND WILL BE NOTIFIED LATER.

We Indians understand the value of service of a machine when it stops or fails so is the case with System administrators of the department.

I understand, the department will not yield to our requests, unless we
fight unitedly. I request every one of the department to think whether is there a need to establish separate Information technology wing on the lines of postal civil and Electrical wing to to administer modernization of the department and to maintain it to work properly. Technology is new to us. Let the administration take advice from Indian Technical
experts .I request top brass to think on this.Let the world know there is India Post working.

It is obvious that the efforts of all the cadres, the PA as well as the supervisory/ postmaster go in for extending service to the public offered by the Department of Posts. Hence, why is the step-motherly treatment of recommending pay hike for only a handful of the cadres? If the Grade Pay is modified at the grass-root level, i.e. from 2400 to 2800; then each and every cadre, in sequence, will enjoy the benefits. The Govt. has been, following the introduction of the 6th CPC paying attention to the MTS and Postman cadre and there have been several pay-revisions/ grade-pay modifications for them. We, the PAs, can certainly expect some favour for us too. The revision of intiial Grade Pay from 2400 to 2800 will just serve the right.

No use.The PA cadre will be neglected again.The MTS and Postman enjoy upgradation everytime without any additional responsibility.

Exactly.The sorting Postman arrives at 0800 pm and his work will be over at 1000 pm.He is very happy with grade pay of 4200 without any responsibility.

Every praposal relets to oprative staff like PA/SA, Supervisor, Postmaster are deleyed but why?
On otherhand all the revenue is earning by this staff but they are nothing getting and otherhand otherofficials except above are getting and getting without loosing

Why the union leader is keeping mum against this injustice?The PA cadre should be benefited at par with the Postman cadre.The status of the PAs is being upheld only at the time of bonus fund collection.

Sir pl do needful work in respect past RTP PA/SA services for all purposes like others who joined ion the department since 1980 to 1989, the service should meant and counted for all purposes including pension , gratuity, etc for all form the date of appointment as short duty/RTP
in the department. Pl do fast and it should be completed by latest 30.10.2011 before madam,s superannuation. Take fast steps in this regards

dear sir, i cant able to understand why our leaders are not trying to improve the status of PAs.On the other hand they all unitedly shouting for GDS/MTS/Postman.Always the PA categories ,leaving them as orphans.we are the neglected categories always.Now the Promotion exam[PM Cadre] is restricted to those who are not appearing for IPO test only.Whether our leaders will try their best to get more benefit to PA cadre in the cadre restructuring committee or not? if they are going to try for this it would have been a great blessing to the PA groups like me.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND, LEADERS OF BOTH UNIONS ARE NOT INTERESTED TO PAY ATTENTION ON THE COMPASSIONATE APPOINTMENT ISSUES, I OBSERVED SINCE MANY YEARS MANY DECEASED EMPLOYEE'S FAMILIES ARE STILL LEFT BEHIND W/O REHABILITATION FROM THE DEPT , EVENTHOUGH UNIONS ARE KEPT QUIET WITHOUT ANY PROTECTION, WHATEVER THE GOVT THINK THAT ONLY IS DOING AND IMPLEMENTING,I THINK THAT THERE SHOULD BE CHANGE IN THE MOINDSET OF THE UNIONIST .
