SIR,
WITHOUT GIVING NOTIFICATION OF THE OFFICES SELECTED UNDER POSTMASTER CADRE-I,II AND III IN TAMILNADU CIRCLE, THEY HAVE CALLED FOR WILLINGNESS FROM THE LSG,HSG-II AND HSG-I OFFICIALS FOR POSTING IN THE POSTMASTER CADRE BY THE APMG STAFF, TAMILNADU CIRCLE WITH IN A STIPULATED PERIOD WHICH IS HIGHLY IRREGULAR. THIS CAUSES VERY MUCH UPSETTING THE STAFF AND LOT OF CONFUSION AMONG THEM WHETHER TO OPT FOR POSTMASTER CADRE ARE NOT. KINDLY CAUSE INSTRUCTIONS THROUGH DTE TO RELEASE THE IDENTIFIED OFFICES IN TAMILNADU IMMEDIATELY TO ALL THE REGIONAL OFFICES FOR FURTHER ACTION IN THIS REGARDS.

It was told in the Directorate letter that the posts come under POSTMASTER cadre would be identified in HOs & important Delivery POs and offices selected for core banking solutions. But it was not done by DO/RO/CO and especially in Southern Region of Tamilnadu circle till today to express options. In some divisions in SR(TN),there is no HSG-II posts too though there is ample justification. But without doing all these exercises, the administration has asked the officials in LSG to give their options. This is against the spirit of the orders of the Directorate. Hence i request to kindly cause to release the list of such POSTs identified for this purpose to all the eligible before the last date fixed for offering options to come to a conclusion wrt expressing options.

Sir,
Unions were against the continuation of the FTP scheme and we got it scrapped only to benefit the socalled seniors. Now the department has changed the nomenclature as Postmaster's cadre and again conducting examination wherein PAs with 5 years service are eligible to become LSG supervisors. When we have opposed to FTP scheme wherein PAs with 10 years service were allowed to write the examn is it not funny to accept the Postmasters cadre scheme.

Sir,
I appreciate the stand of NAPE with regrd to Postmaster Cadre. However we should be care ful in the implementation procedure because the fox like officers will not allow the operative staff to come up. Every departmental official should welcome the postmaster cadre because a personal joined as a Postal Assistant should not retire as Postal Assistant whate ever be the word before Postal Assistant at the time of retirement(BCR, TBOP or MACP). Though there may not be an attractive financial benefit it should be welcomed first because change for a good cause should not be stopped

Sir,
This is regarding Syllubus of Postmaster Cadre examination. The DOP has just given some syllubus. What about the reference books for the examination. How a departmental examination can be held to the departmental employees without referring/supplying the books at least up to divisional level. Please think off it.

Sir,
The time of giving options are swiftly approaching. But, no guidance/initiative has been generated from the union head quarters. The same is absolutely the need of the hour.
